Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay double villa. Free renaissance.
Red ashlar, with some sculptured detail. Mullioned windows,
canted full-height outer bays with parapets and broken
pediments over; advanced centre bay with pair doorways (one
original panelled door) with fanlights, round-headed
lights in canted angles; 1st floor bipartite above with shaped
and sculptured head. Band/string courses divide floors;
eaves course; cornice; parapet; saw-toothed skews; end stacks;
slate roof. Full-height plain rear wing comprises Nos 23 and
25. Set behind ashlar-coped rubble-built walls with square
gatepiers.
