Later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled town house in irregular terrace. Red sandstone rubble with ashlar margins to openings.
E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: regular fenestration; timber, panelled door to centre, letterbox fanlight, rybats in yellow and red sandstone blocks. Pend to outer left, window above. Yellow, sandstone margins to central 1st floor window, projecting cill, chamfered reveals.
W (REAR) ELEVATION: regular fenestration.
N (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by abutting building.
S (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by abutting building.
Predominantly 8-pane, timber-framed sash and case windows. Grey slates, lead flashing. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Coped, gable stack to N.
INTERIOR: not seen 2001.
BOUNDARY WALL: high, rubble wall with later coping, enclosing small garden to rear.
One of several late 18th century houses in Dunblane town centre, remarkable survivors through the rebuilding of the centre in the later nineteenth century.
