Statement of Interest

Albert Cottage and the neighbouring cottages, 1 and 2 Calderwood Place, (see separate listing) were probably tied cottages belonging to the surrounding Cromlix estate, predating the Doune Road villa developments of the later 19th century. Calderwood Place marked the western limit of Dunblane until 1854.
