Description

Dated 1896. 2-storey and attic 3-bay house with shop at ground. Coursed stugged cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. Roll-moulded arrises. Polished ashlar shopfront at ground; 2-leaf shop door at centre with pair of windows to right; pair of narrower windows to left and corresponding panelled door with 3-pane fanlight at outer left, accessing upper floor. At 1st floor, pair of tripartite windows with date plaque AD 1896 at centre. Mansard roof with 3 pedimented dormers; outer ones bipartite.

Timber sash and case windows; multipane upper sashes and plate glass or 2-pane lower sashes. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; scroll skewputts; brick stacks.
