Description

Late 18th century, perhaps incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey and attic 5-bay inn on corner site. Harled with painted margins. Irregular spacing; regular fenestration; 1st floor windows hard up

against eaves; tile-hung gableheaded timber dormers. 3 right bays grouped together with pair of dormers; divided from left bays by apex stack. Inner left bay with door to right and window to left at ground; dormer to outer left. Angle chamfered at ground.

2-bay gable end with windows to both floors. Rear elevation largely obscured by adjoining buildings.

12-pane timber sash and case windows (plate glass to gable). Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick apex stacks.

INTERIOR: unseen 1993.
