18th century with later alterations. 2-storey 3-bay end-of-terrace house. Harled; cement margins.
4 bays at ground; windows to both left bays, modern glazed door to inner right bay, deep-set garage door to right bay. 3 windows at eaves level at 1st floor. Pair of small cast-iron rooflights.
Blank gable end with pari of buttresses. Rear elevation not seen 1993.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Crowstepped gable with corbel skewputt; rebuilt brick stack; steeply-pitched roof, slightly swept at eaves; grey slates.
GARDEN WALL: tall rubble wall continues the line of the gable to the rear.
The best surviving building in the fine group of Nos 30-40 Newtown Street. It was abutted by a further building until this century.
