Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay, L-plan house. Coursed stugged cream sandstone, rubble to sides and rear; ashlar dressings.

S (FRONT) ELEVATION: base course; regular fenestration; consoled canopies to all windows and door. Advanced gabled left bay with finial; blank return to right. Panelled door to centre with 3-pane rectangular fanlight.

W ELEVATION: irregular; windows to left to both floors. Roof piended to rear.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: projecting lean-to range to right. Blank at 1st floor.

E ELEVATION: blank harled gable end.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Piend and pitched roof; grey slates; ashlar coped skews; corbel skewputts. Rendered apex stack, partially rebuilt in brick.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: low ashlar coped rubble front wall; square ashlar pedestrian gatepiers with pyramidal caps. Rubble walls to sides and rear.
