Description

Mid 19th century. Part of row of 5 single storey, 3-bay
cottages; those adjoining to W much altered, not included
in listing. Whinstone rubble with sandstone ashlar
margins.
No 11 with painted margins.
No 12 harled with painted margins.
No 13 refaced with squared, coursed sandstone,
sandstone dressings.
Central door and flanking windows to each cottage. Later
extensions to rear.
Sash and case windows; various glazing patterns.
Red pantiles to Nos 11 and 12, purple slates to No 13.
Straight skews, 2 of 3 mutual gable stacks renewed in brick.
Coped rubble retaining walls.
