Description

Early-mid 19th century. Terrace of 4 single storey, 3-bay
cottages. Whinstone rubble with red and grey sandstone
dressings.
No 18 faced with squared and snecked stugged sandstone.
No 20 harl pointed.
No 21 faced with squared and snecked whinstone.
Central door and flanking windows to each cottage.
Later extensions to rear. Sash and case windows with
12-pane glazing pattern to N front.
Predominantly grey slates: No 18 red pantiles to rear,
No 21 red pantiled.
Mutual gable stacks. Coped retaining walls.
