Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey, 2-bay house with attic;
harl pointed random whinstone rubble, painted margins;
chamfered arrises to 1st floor.
Openings much altered at ground; door with strip
fanlight to outer right, door opening off-centre blocked
with window, enlarged window to outer left. 2 widely
spaced windows at 1st floor. 2 slate hung gabled
dormers to attic.
Sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing pattern.
Grey slates to steeply pitched roof, straight skews, brick
stacks.
Extended at rear.

Statement of Interest

Formerly a stationer; 19th century photographs indicate

original positions of openings at ground floor.
