Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan cottage/villa. Stugged, squared sandstone with ashlar margins and dressings. Base course, blocking course; raised quoins.

NW ELEVATION: 3 symmetrical bays. Rusticated door surround advanced at centre; modern door, plate glass fanlight; flanking windows.

SE ELEVATION: 3-bay with flat-roofed porch addition advanced at penultimate bay to right; door at right return. Square dormer with

2 windows to left of porch; 2 roof lights to right.

uPVC 12-pane sash and case windows to main elevation; 12-pane sash and case at rear elevations. Grey slate roof; ashlar coping to skews; corniced, apex stacks (that to NE replacement; circular cans.

BOUNDARY WALL: high rubble wall with semicircular coping surrounding garden to NW.
