Statement of Interest

High Street was the principal street in Kirkliston, and these houses form part of the old centre of the village and are listed for group value as such. The house is shown as single rectangular-plan block on the 1855 edition, a rear addition had been built onto block by the 1897 edition. The masonry of the principal elevation is continuous with the terraced neighbours nos 7 & 9 (odd nos) High Street which are listed separately.
