Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey and basement 3-bay cottage. Cream sandstone, coursed and squared rubble with droved dressings to front, squared and snecked rubble to rear and side.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: entrance door at centre accessed by bridge with original cast-iron railings, panelled door and rectangular fanlight with border glazing. Outer bays with windows to ground floor and basement level.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey; single windows to each bay at basement and ground floor level; secondary door to outer right; small modern glazed extension to centre bay.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof with lead flashings; apex and mutual apex stacks.

INTERIOR: fluted timber doorcases at ground floor; plain cornices.

Tall rubble wall to rear with flat coping, low wall to front with saddleback coping, taller portion at boundary with No 15.
