Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, rectangular-plan workshop/warehouse forming courtyard enclosed by neighbouring tenement (Nos 32-36 Bernard Street, listed separately). Cream sandstone, coursed and squared rubble with stugged dressings to front and SW elevation, rubble to NE.

SE ELEVATION: gabled; 3-bay with door to centre flanked by single windows (1902); crude canopied ashlar panel to gablehead; stone, depressed-carriage-arch overthrown linking tenement and enclosing setted courtyard to left.

NE ELEVATION: irregular openings, some altered; doorway off-centre to left.

SW ELEVATION: broad depressed-arched opening to right; irregular openings, much altered.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows and multi-pane timber casements (modern). Slate roof with red crested tile ridge; velux rooflights.
