Description

Later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse. Harled rubble with painted ashlar margins, 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Ashlar coped skews, stone ridge, corniced stacks, graded grey slates. Canted dormer and 2 large rooflights to rear.

S ELEVATION: later 19th century panelled door with integral glazed panel at head, 2 windows flanking at ground floor. 3 windows at 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: modern glass door formed off-centre, window to left, large modern patio-door to outer left. 3 windows at 1st floor. Piended, canted dormer to attic to right, large modern rooflight to left.

Modern addition to E gable at ground floor, window to attic above.

INTERIOR: largely altered.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble garden walls front and rear, ashlar coped to road.

Statement of Interest

Farmhouse associated with the Greenhead Estate to the East which appears on 18th century maps, appearing as Greenend on Knox?s Map of 1812 and as Greenpark on 1855 OS 1st edition.
