Description

Anderson (Sir R Rowland) Simon (Frank W) and Crawford
(R Hunter) 1900. Large asymmetrical 2-storey villa of
English Jacobean arts-and-crafts manorial character,
finely detailed. S front has broad canted bay on W. Roman
doric pilastered doorpiece with obelisk finials and large
3-light staircase window at centre, 2-window projecting
gable with obelisk finials on E. Mullioned windows with
transoms at ground floors, leaded glass, snecked rubble
with ashlar dressings, slated roofs. Single storey
outbuildings at rear.
