Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay classical house with later 1-bay, recessed 2-storey wing to NW and modern single storey harled addition at rear. Squared and coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, base course, cornice, blocking course.

SE ELEVATION (FRONT): centre bay slightly advanced, ashlar, with entrance at ground floor; door (modern) with plate glass fanlight in polished ashlar Roman Doric pilastered and corniced doorpiece with entablature. Window above at 1st floor. Windows flanking at ground and 1st floor, all windows renewed in modern 12-pane uPVC. Recessed wing to left in coursed ashlar with window at ground floor.

REAR ELEVATION: piended modern addition at ground floor, 3 windows at 1st floor with plate glass sashes.

Grey slates to piended roof, ashlar coped wallhead stacks with simple cornice, cans missing.

INTERIOR: not seen (1995).
