Description

Circa 1825; later alterations. 4-storey, 5-bay classical tenement with shops at ground on corner site. Coursed rubble with droved dressings; rendered at ground. Centre bays grouped together; cill courses at 1st and 3rd floors. At ground, common stair door at centre and pair of 2-bay shops to right, with original stone pilastrade and cornice; 3-bay public bar with plate glass windows to left. 3-bay return with 2 wallhead stacks; upper floors of right bay blank.

Timber sash and case windows; variety of glazing. Piended roof; grey slates; ashlar stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

Statement of Interest

The cornice has been removed from the left bays at ground. A Group with Nos 92-102 (even nos) Hanover Street.
