Description

18th century. 2-storey, rubble with droved ashlar dressings, some margins repaired in cement. 3 window front with central door, left hand ground floor window has been inserted into wider built up opening. Slated front roof with skew and rendered brick stack right. Pantiled rear roof with crowsteps.

Statement of Interest

James Horsburgh FRS Hydrographer to the East India Company was born here in 1762 (Plaque in building).
