Description

A.H.L. Mackinnon (Aberdeen) c. 1900. Renaissance, 2-storey

ashlar, channelled ground floor with segment headed windows.

Bank section 5-window, centre and end bays advanced, good

armorial panel at parapet with rusticated pilasters, broken semi-circular pediment with obelisk; 3-window S. wing; N.

wing unfortunately not built.

Statement of Interest

Not of special merit as a design but good feature terminating

the southward view of the north section of Castle Street.
