Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic range of 2 jointed

dwellings; irregular rear elevation to street. Harled with

painted margins; slate roof.

Gollanhead House: 4-bay south elevation; 2 piended dormers.

West portion of range comprising Gollanhead Cottage is built

into excavated hillside, the ground floor being semi-basement. Asymmetrical 3-bay south front with centre door at 1st floor

reached by flight of stairs over-sailing basement area.

Enlarged basement window; 2 piended dormers. Octagonal gatepiers

and fleur-de-lis cast-iron railings.
