Description

1869-70. Truncated astylar terraced crescent of 16
houses. 2 storeys over basement; 9-bay 3-storey central
pavilion. 3-bay elevation per house. Polished ashlar,
channelled at ground, stonecleaned. Steps oversailing
basement to tall doorpieces. All upper windows
architraved, corniced at 1st floor of pavilion. Sash
windows, plate-glass glazing. Band course at upper floor
cills; eaves course with incised geometric pattern;
mutule cornice. Axial stacks, slate roofs. Decorative
cast-iron railings to steps and basement. Circa 1900
coloured leaded glass inner door to No 18.
