Description

Later 19th century wide gateway to Kelvingrove Park. 6
symmetrically arranged red ashlar gatepiers; inner
wrought-iron gatepiers support main pair of wrought-iron
gates. Ashlar gatepiers tall and square with dwarf
columns supporting dentil moulded corniced coping stone;
innermost piers support cast-iron lamp brackets.
Elaborate wrought-iron gates feature City of Glasgow
arms.
