Description

Charles Wilson, architect, circa 1855. Ashlar balustrade
with regular square stone piers, on S side of Park
Terrace carriageway; running from Park Terrace
monumental stairway to N-extremity of Park Terrace. Here
it is replaced by cast-iron railings which continue
opposite Park Quadrant.
Monumental gateway to Kelvingrove Park at Lord Roberts'
statue: 9 main symmetrically arranged gatepiers with
cast-iron gates and decorative lamp brackets.
