Description

Circa 1855. Balustraded stone stairway from Woodlands
Terrace to Clifton Street. Double flight of steps
meeting at platt, surmounted by further straight flight.
Massive channelled outer piers of granite; lesser inner
piers and balustrade. Upper flight has plain cast-iron
railings; some steps repaired.
