Description

Circa 1888-91. Curving terrace of 5, 2-storey, 2-bay
astylar houses stepped in slope. Polished ashlar, partly
painted, rock-faced at plinth, snecked rubble rear elevation.
Entrances to left, tripartite with narrow sidelights,
corniced with elaborate coupled consoles, tripartite
window above. Full-height, 5-light canted bay with simple arched
tympana at ground floor. 1st floor corbelled cill band,
boldly projecting with deep corbelled eaves, finials,
skews with corniced axial stacks breaking through.
S return elevation: snecked rusticated rubble. Random
fenestration. Bay window in N bay rising from basement
to ground floor.
