Description

Circa 1900. Prominent 2-storey and attic asymmetrical house and conservatory on corner site. Red sandstone bull-faced and specked with polished ashlar dressings. Bold angle turret with steeply bellcast and copper-domed roof. Entrance in projecting porch to Anniesland Road with paired, arched windows and scooped parapet. Projecting square bay to right with tripartites on each floor. Single storey curved bay at extreme. Elevation to Southbrae Drive with full-height canted bay (4-lights) at left. Large conservatory on S elevation with red tile ridge repeated from main roof. All windows sash and case with plate glass. Deep eaves, slate roof, red tile ridge, shouldered stacks to N & S, gable end to W.

Single storey garage block to W.
