Description

Later 19th century, 4-storey tenement with big square
corner bay at N with iron-crested French roof, shops at
ground; polished ashlar above, some canted bays,
architraved 2/3-light windows in other bays (though some
single lights on flanks), pilastered jambs/mullions at
top floor. Mostly original sash windows; horizontal
strings, deep main entablature with dentilled cornice
and moulded cast-iron guttering. Oriels at corner bay
and on flanks; pend also to Dixon Avenue and basement
with heavy iron railings to area. Mostly original
stacks; slate roofs.
