Description

Circa 1872. Curved astylar terrace of tenements with return
elevation to Victoria Crescent Road. 3 storeys and basement;
polished ashlar, channelled at ground, partly painted or
stonecleaned.
2 bays per house: to right steps oversailing basement to
tripartite doorpiece with glazed sidelights, double leaf
panelled storm doors; vestibule door with glazed fanlight. To
left (to right at No 2 Victoria Crescent Road) full height
canted window rises from basement, corniced over each floor
and with panelled frieze at 1st. Sash windows, mainly plate
glass glazing. Heavy band course at 1st and 2nd floor cills.
Eaves cornice. Corniced axial stacks, slate roof.
Cast-iron railings to steps and basement, some modern.
