Description

1878-1888. Classically detailed astylar former gas
offices and workshops now converted to domestic usage.
2 storeys with attic floor, 13 bays. Painted ashlar,
channelled to ground.
To centre bay, round-arched pend, now partly blocked
and converted to 3-light window; tripartite window to
1st. Otherwise all single light, to 1st margined and
corniced. All modern sash and case with plate-glass
glazing. Attic storey with small semi-circular windows.
Band course over ground and to 1st and attic cills.
Eaves band and cornice, slate roofs.
