Description

Circa 1870. Italianate, round-arched style. 2-storey,
3-bay villa. Painted ashlar, squared rubble rear
elevation.
Full-height bowed N bay. Sash and case windows.
Central round-headed architraved entrance in cavetto
moulding, sculpted tympanum at head of short flight of
steps with die walls. Round-headed stair window over,
set in architrave with sculpted spandrels. 4-light bowed
window on raked, moulded cill band to left with richly
detailed imposts and tympana, Greek-key frieze: tripartite
window with similar detailing to right. 1st floor windows
plain with cill bands on rich corbels.
Modillion cornice. Slate roof. Finial to bowed section.
Corniced end stacks with tall pots. Plain rear elevation
with cat-slide roof, arched half dormer.
