Description

Circa 1855. Altered 1927, P J Westwood and Emberton.
4-storey warehouse on corner, modern shops at ground
floor, 7 x 11 bays, altered corner bay. Painted ashlar.
Sash and case windows in architraves, console corniced at
1st floor, corniced with lugged and shouldered architraves
at 2nd floor; 2nd floor cill band. Richly sculpted 2nd
floor main modillion cornice. Simple lugged architraves
to 3rd floor, cornice above. Later set-back dormers.
Slate roof.
6-BAY RETURN TO DRURY STREET: 1st return bay as main
elevation, 5 further bays with simplified detailing. 1st
floor windows corniced, 2nd floor windows lugged
architraves on cill band, graduated 2nd floor cornice.

and attractive".
