Description

H K Bromhead, 1871. 3-storey symmetrical classical
halls with modern shops, 14-bay street facade. Ashlar.
2-bay central entrance with consoled entablature
supporting timber blocks with paterae supports
surmounted by carved crown. Windows mainly sash and case
with plate glass, in simple architraves; 1st floor
windows consoled cornices with recessed frieze
and dentils; 2nd floor dentilled cornices and bracketted
cills. Entablature with lettering in frieze and
modillion cornice.
