Description

Circa 1845. 4-storey tenement with modern shops,
5 x 6 bays. 2nd bay from E in Sauchiehall Street
and 4th bay on 1st and 2nd floors blind; 1st return
bay to Hope Street and 5th return bay at ground floor
blind. All windows architraved, mainly sash and case.
Ground floor band course; 1st and 2nd floor cill bands.
Eaves mutule cornice. 1st floor: consoled centre
window to Sauchiehall Street; the remainder corniced
and bracketted with alternating segmental and
triangular pediments. 2nd floor windows corniced and
bracketted, pedimented on central Sauchiehall Street bay.
Plain windows on 3rd floor.
Slate roof. 1 wallhead stack reduced on each elevation.
