Description

A McInnes Gardner, 1927-30. 5-storey, 10 x 12 (4-8) bays.
Modern classical office building. Ashlar, channelled at
ground level to Blythswood Street; ground floor to Waterloo
Street polished granite. Wide central door, 4 wide flanking
windows. 1st floor with doors, 1st floor architraved and
corniced, 2nd and 3rd plain. Eaves gallery effect 5 x 6
windows divided by fluted panels. Deep modillion cornice and
blocking course. Modern glazing out of keeping.
Elevation to Blythswood Street with 2 wide shallow arched
windows in ground floor.
