W Goscombe-John ARA, 1903 (inscription). Statue,
pedestrian bronze of James Reid. Tall granite pedestal
with classical detailing, inscription and bronze
plaques. Enclosed by wrought-iron railings with art-
nouveau flourishes, plain granite terminal posts.

Inscribed "James Reid/of/Auchterarder/and the Hyde Park/

Locomotive Works/Born 1823/Died 1894".
