Description

H E Clifford, 1902. Large 2-storey villa with
renaissance details. Stugged and snecked honey-
coloured ashlar, red-tiled roofs. Main entrance front
faces Dalziel Drive, to N; off-centre entrance in
pedimented doorcase with strap-work; advanced gable
right with ranks of small lights, stack rises from one
curved angle, bay beyond with upper part timber-framed
and harled; conical-roofed drum turret at left hand
(ie NE) angle, upper floor corbelled; E flank has
mullioned/mullioned and transomed windows in left hand
gable. Small-paned glazing; stepped gables; stacks.
Rubble-built domed and battered circular gatepiers at
corner of Dalziel Drive/Albert Drive.
