Description

Circa 1880 2-storey 3-bay villa. Stone-cleaned ashlar,
coursers, pilasters and sculptured detail. L-plan front,
inner porch with renaissance details and round-arched
doorway, full-height canted window in advanced right
bay, single windows left, that to 1st floor balconied
and with paired narrow pilasters either side. Plate
glass sashes, some with leaded upper panels; bracketted
deep eaves; end stacks; slate roof, set forward over
bays. Windows on flanks have inset pilasters. Altered
wing recessed on each flank, to right (S) originally a
conservatory; projecting ground floor bay alongside,
modern forestair, door above.
Stepped boundary wall, painted ashlar gatepiers.
