Description

Later 19th century. Sweeping gateway comprised of decorative cast- and wrought-iron quadrant railings on saddleback ashlar plinth with corniced octagonal ashlar outer columns and more slender, octagonal, panelled gatepiers with roundel and strapwork detail, cornice and urn finials. Decorative gates. Rubble sandstone quadrant walls to outer flanks with semi-circular coping, continuous with similarly detailed boundary walls to former Garscube estate.
