Built circa 1900 as stables for G and SW Railway; converted to flats circa 1985. Tall red brick 3-storey block with long street elevation, arches over 2nd floor windows spring from corbels or from pilaster strips which group bays; only entrance a pend towards right (W); cornice over ground floor, brick band between upper floors may conceal a repair; distinctive glazing, plate- glass lower sashes at ground and at 2nd floors may be an alteration; main cornice; modern rooflights in slated mansard; stacks; rear wing forms courtyard, with railway embankment to S.
