Description

Mid 19th century villa, details derived from David Hamilton's individual "revivalist" style. 2-storeys, 3-bays, L-plan front with narrow centre entrance bay, gable advanced right with distinctive skew moulding (dormerheads to other bays); at ground floor, projecting window to right, canted window to left (?original), similar window on gable facing kilmarnock Road; hoodmoulded outer 1st floor bipartites with basket-arched lights; stone cleaned, polished ashlar; plate glass sashes; end stacks; slate roof. Modern wing to right. Ashlar perimeter wall, square gatepiers, timber balustrading.
