Early 20th century. Small polished red granite basin-fountain with square granite base, short drum pillar with acanthus neckband, shallow circular basin cradling substantial die with carved lionhead sspouts to all sides surmounted by short bronze barley-sugar pole.
Possibly part of the original construction of the East Bay esplanade (1898).
