Description

Circa 1800. pair 2-storey dwellings; coped end and ridge
stacks; local slate roofs.
No 22. Rubble, tooled rubble dressings; narrow symmetrical
3-bay frontage with centre door; 16-pane glazing; diminutive
attic light to N gable.
No 24. Wide 3-bay frontage; harled. Centre door; 2 additional
ground floor windows to R Ground, 1st floor and diminutive attic
window in S return gable. Boulder footings.

No. 24 return gable to Burnfield Avenue.

Nos 22, 24 appear on 1809 map of Burgh.

No 24 was possibly twp cottages (nos 24 and 26 ), now

one dwelling.
