Description

Left house: Circa 1865, 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays; at
ground floor pilastered and pedimented doorpiece with at
left canted bay window with balustered parapet, at 1st
floor, left window is tripartite. Rubble with ashlar
dressings and rusticated quoins. Slated roof with pedimented
dormer at right and canted dormer at left.
Right house: Circa 1865, 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays with
left bay slightly advanced and gabled and right bay carried
up as 3-storey tower. A left, rectangular bay window with
balustered parapet at ground floor; tripartite window at
1st floor, Venetian window at attic; at centre, pedimented
doorpiece of same type as that at No 10 Ness Bank, pedimented
dormer of same type as at No 10 Ness Bank; at right,
canted bay window with balustered parapet at ground floor,
tripartite window at 1st floor, round-arched tripartite
window at 2nd floor, bracketted cornice and parapet. Rubble
with ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins. Slated roof.
