Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced house with basement and attic, sited on falling ground. Harled with painted dressings. Base course, quoin strips and moulded cornice. Round-arched doorpiece to left with keystone, panelled door with 3-pane and sunburst fanlight; basement openings boarded to centre and left, centre bay with window to each floor above and bipartites to each of bay to outer right. Swept box dormer above abutting stone gablehead.

Timber sash and case windows with small-pane upper sashes and plate glass lowers. Graded grey slate roof. Broad gablehead stack.

Statement of Interest

Part of the Hill Street Conservation Area. Setted foreground and paved street. The street was formerly known as Hill Place.
