Description

Later to late 19th century. 2-storey and attic 4-bay house and shop on a curved corner site. Squared and snecked cream sandstone rubble, with ashlar margins; stop-chamfered arrises.

W (FRONT) ELEVATION: shop front to left bay; pair of slender fluted and panelled pilasters, flanking inset door and large window, support fascia and cornice; decorative tripartite window above. 3-bay house to right, regular fenestration, panelled door, with rectangular fanlight and stop -roll-moulded doorface to right hand bay. 3 canted dormers.

4-pane timber sash and case windows (i-pane to side lights of dormers). Grey slate roof. Brick stacks. Cast-iron gutter at eaves.
