Description

Mid 19th century. Plain 3-storey 3-bay tenement with shop at ground. Stugged cream ashlar with polished margins.

To right at ground, deep-set panelled door giving access to 2-storey 3-bay flat above. To left, tripartite shopfront with deep-set glass door and rectangular fanlight at centre, flanked by plate glass display windows on base course; applied fascia and awning box.

Upper floors with 4-pane timber sash and case windows. Pitched grey slate roof.

A decent example of its type and part of the group to the N side of Exchange Street (see separate listings for Nos 1-15 Exchange Street).
