Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay stugged cream ashlar sandstone tenement with offices above shop on corner site. Regular fenestration, cill course at 2nd floor. W (MARKET PLACE) ELEVATION: 3 bays with shop at ground; 2-leaf glazed door with letterbox fanlight at centre; flanked by large square vertically divided 2-pane shop windows with cills; cornice.

S (ABBEY PLACE) ELEVATION: 2 bays, fascia continuing as band course above ground floor. Left bay with blocked window at ground, painted blind windows above; right bay with door; windows above.

Timber sash and case windows (2-pane upper sashes plate glass lower). Piended roof, grey slates.
