Description

James B Lamb, 1891. Octagonal, raised on chanelled stone platform

base; cast-iron columns (Murdoch and Cameron, Glasgow) with decorative wrought-iron brackets and enclosing decorative wrought-iron railings; timber-corniced lead roof, rising above as octagonal ogee-domed cupola with louvre and pediment detailing; wrought-iron apex weather-vane. Free standing cast-iron bollards enclosing bandstand to N (P & R Fleming, Glasgow).
