Description

Dated 1870, Gothic, 2 bay, 3 storey and attic with original
shops flanking a central gabled door at ground. 1st floor
windows all bipartite with arched heads, machicolated
cornice, straight skews with rectangular end-stacks,
slated roof with 2 gabled dormers to attic.

Statement of Interest

A well-detailed 19th century tenement & shops that contribute positively to the streetscape. It is possible that this building also contains No 2 Bridge Street, but this is not evident from current maps, or on the ground.
